Strange thing about this new diet: I’m so used to eating sugar and starch and flour-based food that when I stop eating it completely, no matter how much non-carb food I eat, I’m still not satisfied. I’m not actually hungry, I just want to eat the stuff, and it’s EVERYWHERE. Most people don’t realize how completely we’re surrounded and saturated by cheap, shitty food until they stop eating it. I know I didn’t. I mean, I knew it in the abstract, but I never had my eyes really opened to it before.
