Somehow I thought I would have a quiet week of doing nothing while Aaron was in Japan, but it hasn’t turned out that way. It’s been quiet at work, but outside of work I’ve been running errands; going to class; doing homework; shopping for things for class, the LAN party, and RenFest; and just plain running for exercise. I see the trainer tonight, have a stack of stuff scattered over the office floor that needs to be dealt with, more homework to do, and laundry to run. Oh, and finish decorating my costume for RenFest.
Tomorrow I see the trainer again because we couldn’t work out Tuesday, roadster_guy comes home, and I/we are supposed to have dinner with Eric. Saturday is the RenFest Fantasy Feast, so the first day to potentially do nothing after all this activity is Sunday. If I could afford the days off I’d skip out Friday just to get caught up. All of this is seriously cutting into my gaming time, I might add, but I’ll get plenty of that at the LAN party next weekend. I got UT2k4 installed and patched, and had time to play two rounds of deathmatch before running off to class. I want to try Onslaught mode, but just don’t have the time.
Running has been really hurting my heel spur. Although it’s been tolerable so far, it’s really hurting today after running last night, and I’ve been putting off going to the doctor because I know the first fix for it is to stick a needle in my heel and pump it with cortisone. I don’t know why I’m so reluctant, considering I had a P.A. done with barely a second thought, but then I’m not exactly walking around *that*.
